  1. Past hour
  2. Does that mean we think a commit will not sign with the OL class?
  3. In the championship game, we went up and down the field on them but couldn't finish in the red zone. Ole Miss has fasted on spreading Georgia out and hitting them in the middle of the field where the linebackers have vacated and then working them over with timely QB runs.
  4. No. But I would be very cautious as fans thinking Texas going to go retool an OL in the portal.
  5. I’m gonna assume Texas will be #9 in the upcoming CFP Poll. They are tied for OU in the new AP Poll at 10. Committee has shown to value H2H, so Texas could be at #9 when the playoff poll releases. I think as long as we don’t get embarrassed in Athens and we beat A&M, we will get an at large bid. We just CANNOT get blown out. A 3-7 point loss to UGA doesn’t hurt shouldn’t hurt us that bad. Clearly we want to win. Just think we have more wiggle room to get in as a 9-3 team.
  6. “If Texas wins both games, it could jump Notre Dame…” If Texas wins both games and doesn’t jump Notre dame, then the CFP is seriously flawed.
  7. I’d bet Texas is 9 in the CFP Poll. If the AP dropped BYU 6 spots, the playoff committee will drop them further . They’ll keep OU at 10, and move Texas to 9 because they value head to head.
  8. This poll stopped mattering the moment they released the first CFP rankings.
  9. The ONLY that matters is the CFP!
  10. He visited for the Sam Houston game. How would you describe him as a prospect Gerry?
  11. That’s what I’d like to know as well.
  12. Today
  13. I personally hope we run nothing from either Georgia game last year because it didn’t really work and won’t work with this team.
  14. I like how he finishes blocks and he’s got some nastiness to him
  15. I would think Sark leans more on the game plan we used in the SEC Championship game where we threw the ball a ton with targets to motion and had much more success moving the ball downfield. Hopefully, Arch's legs & a better fg kicker lead to more than 6 pts after outgaining Georgia by 200 yds.
  16. They scored 13 points versus us including an OT possession. Against us, 78% of passes were within 9 yards down the field. On the season that is 63%. So that’s part of the equation. It looks like against UF he had a better completion percentage but was around that 65% at the shorter distances. Kentucky had two games coming off a bye this season. One on the road at USC. The other versus Texas at home. One was his first P5 start of the season, one was not. It stands to reason there was a pointed effort during the bye to give him some simple throws. His passing grade in his last 4 games from PFF has only Auburn lower than us. Of course, only Auburn was on the road.
  17. Definitely not ai slop either.
  18. The writer Nick Wright isn't the bozo on Fox is it?
