  1. Past hour
  2. Too early to tell IMO I maintain that due to portal and playoff we won’t see dynastic runs anymore But also due to the portal teams change and improve so much early in the season … CFB is more like basketball now due to portal … teams build and round into form more like a basketball team due to roster churns annually
  3. I agree with you 💯 all these top teams are so young it’s going to make for a great season
  4. My theory on this is, besides NIL and the portal, a lot of these covid super seniors have left these programs and that leaves them with very young, inexperienced rosters. So you’ll probably have more weeks like this where the top teams outtalent lesser competition. Right now, I would say Ohio State looks like they might go back-to-back, but a lot can happen between now and January 20th in Miami Gardens.
  5. Look around the college football landscape and you won't find any team to point at and say that's the team to beat. The darling right now is Oregon, because they beat a very bad OSU team. Their flaws haven't shown as much because in both of their wins they've been able to out athlete everyone. Wait until Dante Moore gets to face a defense that wants and has the ability to take away Oregon's strengths, and I don't care who or what era Oregon is playing in, after all the crazy uniforms, the first thing that comes to mind is SAWFT!
  6. Looks like Livingstone and Endries.
  7. This is correct.
  8. Anyone can lose to anyone anywhere on any given Saturday. There's no reason to be concerned. Too many people here assume that any team we play will be at their best while Texas will be at their worse. Texas can't be as immature and undisciplined as they were yesterday and beat Florida, but let's be honest here, it won't take a Herculean effort either. Florida has just as many issues if not more than Texas with Billy Napier being the most pressing.
  9. lol All in on Billy! Expectations Sam will “retire”
  10. Starting a pool on who gets fired first Sammy P or Sunbelt Billy. 5 cent buy in🤣
  11. IF Florida loses next two on road … the Texas game in Gainesville will be built up as the season saving/must win to turn the season around
  12. He’s staring 4-8 right in the face. Kentucky (despite being on the road) and Mississippi State are very winnable. They usually play Tennessee well, so I would say them, but their win streak over the Vols in the Swamp is in jeopardy. I do think they pull an upset somewhere to get to that 4th win. Either way, I think Napier is cooked in Gainesville.
  13. Today
  14. Texas can absolutely lose at Florida. Take any signs of Saturday’s sloppy ball on the road, and you can be beat I remain the same … see where UF’s health is at after games at LSU and Miami Florida will likely be a very wounded dog when Texas rolls into Gainesville See what fight the Gators have with their coach being on the hottest seat after Saturday
  15. Just rehashing his water bottle struggles from last season.
  16. I missed that … what’s happened
  17. Dasani has his number too
  18. One thing I'll say about Mateer is he is very shifty. But him running that much is not a great idea. You just spy that with guys like Hill or Smith and hope he throws one of those ducks up that he got lucky with several times last night. Michigan should've picked him off like 2-3 more times than they did lol. Had to mute the audio with how much Herbstreit and Fowler were drooling over him.
  19. As I cross the state line into the Sunshine State … the top spot in the coaching hot seat category has been secured after Saturday Florida’s next four games… at LSU at Miami Texas at Texas A&M And still on the schedule: Georgia at Ole Miss Tennessee FSU
  20. Two plays later he threw a very catchable ball to Butler 30 plus yards down feild from the opposite hash. Could there be some discomfort? Sure, but hurting isn't the same as injured.
  21. But DJ Lagway is so amazing and Billy. Spite is on fire recruiting 🤪😂🤪😂🤪 go Bulls!
  22. That would only serve as a band aid. Meaning going to the portal for positions you have players at who just lack game experience only kicks the can down the road. You have to find out if your pups are going to bite.
  23. OnTexasFootball can report that Texas remains in contact with 4-star++ Florida Gators DL commit Kendall Guervil (Fort Myers, Gla./High). Guervil committed to Florida over Texas July 2. The 6-4.5, 310 pounder suffered a season ending knee injury (ACL) in the season opener, but that has not kept Kenny Baker and staff from remaining in contact.
