  1. Past hour
  2. So firing the coaches responsible for developing the QB and fixing the offensive line accomplishes nothing, but throwing an inexperienced QB behind that same line in the same offense might? You aren’t proposing a solution. You’re proposing a new scapegoat for Sark. Your solution to bad coaching is to give the same coaches another quarterback to ruin. Brilliant!! Hahaha, I’d never expect less of you.
  3. It was great to see Worthy featured. He and Golden are really shining this year along with the expected dominance of the great Bijan Robinson. Always exciting to watch Byron Murphy work. 🤘
  4. I wouldn’t expect you to know…BUT…“Thankfully once he reaches the NFL…” Exactly. Maybe by then he’ll have a coach who can develop him, an offensive line that can protect him, and an offense that puts him in position to succeed. Quite the endorsement of Sark’s $10M operation. You made my point better than I could.
  5. The problem with Sarks offense is and has been soft. This is due to his finesse style in a LOS conference. If you are going to run a zone blocking scheme you CAN NOT afford to have any lineman that has slow feet. You have to beat opponents to a spot, not necessarily to move anyone but to shield lanes both in the run and pass game. Further because generally those lineman are a bit smaller and quicker passing downs need to develop relatively quickly. You cant sit in the pocket for 4 or 5 seconds. Big arm long developing plays will not work against equally talented teams. Physics simply do not work. Not all but most big lineman are generally slower afoot but can keep a pocket cleaner for pass and work much better for power run games. There are very few offensive linemen that are both large and quick. Kelvin Banks is the only one I can recall in the Sark era that fits that mold. This offense does not continuously do either of these well. Smallish center that gets pushed backwards regularly...GCG continuously late to spots. This doesn't even take into account a QB that seems utterly lost. A playcaller that limits audibles instead of letting him get the offense into better plays. This team was constructed with this staff and have failed to develop the talent they recruited. There is definitely a lot of flies in the ointment. Figure out what kind of offense you want to run and recruit guys that fit that regardless of the stars attached to their name.
  6. I love to say Sark and co can’t develop. But I haven’t seen this many of our boys in the league in awhile! I just wish one was a QB 😞
  7. What exactly are we looking at here Phog? A SEC QB getting hit and pressured as he throws? Is that supposed to be unique to Arch? Thankfully once he reaches the NFL, the pockets will always be clean and the throwing windows will be much larger.
  8. Fair ranking. We got to gel much more with the new players before we can truly compete.
  9. Love watching so many of the players playing. There are so many right now.
  10. After watching Todd McShay talking about Arch on his podcast, it made wonder a few things. Gerry/CJ, have these issues (inability to make reads, slow decisions) with Arch been prevalent this entire time (even last year), but we've been distracted by a few big runs? He's gotten a lot of credit for "NFL throws" but in reality were questionable decisions into double coverage a number of times this year and even late last year. The way McShay put is Sark has been hiding this (or lying in his words) from the public/media for a while now. Any validity to this?
  11. Start KJ Lacey this Saturday and you get folded and your season is completely ended. Do you say we should have given Arch one more start before completely piling on or do you ride Lacey the rest of the year?
  12. Today
  13. I think one issue I see already this year will be Speights being our backup PG and so small and a liability on defense. Unless you play defense like Rory Harmon, teams are going to attack you at 5'6" every time down the court like UConn was doing. They weren't even taking full advantage by putting her in the pick and roll. So she either needs to figure out how to play extra on defense like Rory and Hildalgo do or Vic might not be playing her as much as the season continues.
  14. Who thinks a guy that grew up watching his uncles and grandfather play a position he plays didn’t learn anything along the way. Arch has probably watched more tape than anyone on the team and even more than some coaches. I have to believe he can read a defense. Sark said they don’t let him audible. Last year he was able to get to his second and third read. Why doesn’t Sark let him play? It can’t be worse than what we’re seeing now.
  15. Tell me how I’ve smeared Arch. Cite examples.
  16. I've been reading The Attributes of God by A.W. Tozer lately. Very heavy book that forces me to wrestle with the concept of infinitude. Highly recommended.
  17. Buddy there is a difference between critiques and just being an Ahole and smearing someone There is a pretty solid reason no one respects you’re opinion on this
  18. Of course. Again, sorry if my critiques have hurt you so.
  19. My observations🤓☝️
  20. I've started to pick it up the past couple of weeks. Purchased several Clive Cussler novels at the Goodwill store. Seems to be a good time to start a book club ...
  21. Sorry if I triggered you, but my observations have to do with Arch’s inability to handle the blitz and missing open receivers. Those are performance issues, not scheme.
  22. That’s exactly what you have been doing this thread though
  23. Nah, Arch did plenty wrong on his own. No need to blame him for others.
  24. According to some that’s Arch’s fault💀
