  1. Past hour
  2. Who works the loop holes the best and quickest around the house settlement have an advantage IMO.
  3. My apologies, didnโ€™t mean to misquote you. It was when miller was first hired, so Must have just misinterpreted or mistook it for something else. Just was curious on how/if this changes things
  4. So you our advocating on entering a bidding war for talent? ๐Ÿค” Or just a temporary adjustment?
  5. Misery at $31M a year in athletics is likely unsustainable.
  6. I didn't say the one Goosby was waiting on, but did say the offer was expected to happen. Texas will be right there for Goosby. Texas OV will be in September
  7. See what happens. A&M is trying to win the head-to-head's vs. Texas in 2026. Up to Texas to not allow it to happen.
  8. Failing to get commitments from recruits who do not want to win on the field for Texas nor win in life off the field at Texas is not a loss. It is dodging a bullet. NIL bag chasers do not build great teams. Sarkisian builds great teams. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  9. Just checking in on everyoneโ€™s mental this morning to make sure yall survived?
  10. @Gerry HamiltonWe knew it was coming sooner or later, but how much does this hurt Texasโ€™ chances? I feel like I remember you mentioning this was always the offer he was waiting for? Has miller built a strong enough relationship that still keeps Texas in this?
  11. A school is not required to pay out the full 20.5. It's up to them. That's the max they can pay through revenue sharing.
  12. Today
  13. Is the $20.5M really a compensation cap, or is it a floor? My understanding is the $20.5m is the revenue sharing amount based off the $2.8B settlement spread across P4 schools athletic departments over some number of years. It is the amount required to be provided to (โ€œsharedโ€) athletes as NIL / marketing compensation, but it does not limit athletes at any schoolโ€™s athletes from earning amounts above the $20.5M baseline through legitimate NIL / sponsorship deals (which the schools are allowed to facilitate for the athletes). Of course, the scope here are NIL based deals, not pay for play deals. So, the $20.5m is a NIL compensation floor at a P4 school, not a compensation cap / ceiling. Disclosure of NIL deals by athletes of P4 schools goes through the new CSC process and organization. So, in theory, Mizzou can disclose they spent $31m in athlete NIL compensation by simply combining the $20.5M revenue sharing figure with the additional CSC-approved NIL deals (say, $10.5m in total).
  14. I agree but either we are or the texags staff is lying with what they posted about us making a push
  15. This weekend for Turntine is huge. All of these guys seem to love Texas but have more enticing bags elsewhere. I think Texas is patient for a reason and as many have said save their gun powder for the long run. Reading culture fits when you bring them in for a weekend or two only goes so far. Understanding who they are behind the scenes when they communicate with staff is a whole new ball game. Texas plays their cards close to the chest, so no matter how frustrated we are, we will definitely be better off than most. Let Burnt Vegetables get all his horns down out in June, same for Tickle me elko
  16. The Texas staff is wanting it quiet. Itโ€™s better if it is quiet
  17. It would help if we had Texas insiders posting more about who visits us and stuff. How would we know Florida isnโ€™t in on this kid
  18. Donโ€™t trust a random Aggy fan. Texasโ€™ focus is on Becker and that isnโ€™t changing
  19. TexAgs. Just feels like Aggies trying to make it sound like it so they can hype up a win over Texas. On brand for those losers
  20. Aggy saying we are fighting for the Maryland ss now ๐Ÿ‘€
