  1. Past hour
  2. Perhaps Arch needs to wear those Warby Parkers's during games🤣. No excuses it was a damn shame to watch a very winable game go down the drain. 9-3 or 10- 2 is the ceiling now and that may be generous. But hey we will look awesome these next 3 scrimmages. Real test in a month in the Swamp. Then you will have a better feel if this is the year , or the year before the year again!
  3. If there's two positives from yesterday about Arch is that he is a real threat running and he also maneuvers the pocket really well. His problem yesterday was not about being afraid of getting hit, like Quinn was... For someone with 3 starts he moves really well but he just had no confidence inside the pocket... Wasn't stepping into throws, flat footed, side arming the ball or sailing it high... The biggest concern I have is processing, because I believe he has the mechanics and footwork to make the easy stuff automatic but if you wanna play in the NFL you gotta throw the guys open, you can't wait for them to get open. To me yesterday looked like the Arch we saw in his first spring game: skipping the ball on the ground, sailing it high, etc... Last I'd like to point out was how bad he looked against ULM and how much better he looked the week after, regardless of competition. It wouldn't be a good sign for your QB to be inconsistent but It'd make sense given it's his 3rd start and you'd hope he gets more level headed with experience
  4. Mechanics and missing reads can be fixed. My biggest takeaway from yesterday is between the end of last season and yesterday Sark had Co broke Arch. I didn’t see the same fire and swagger he played with last year. We need that version to show up, not the one that played yesterday.
  5. OSU made big plays when it needed them and Texas didn’t on offense.
  6. Unless arch was hurt then all of the mechanical things fall on arch not milwee or sark. Kid has all the resources in the world with 3 hof level qbs in the family, David Morris as a qb coach and Sark who has mentored many great qbs as well. I think he’ll look at the tape and be disappointed with himself. Expect a large improvement in mechanics by UF.
  7. I saw what I saw. You don’t seem to grasp how defense is played. I suppose when a shutdown corner doesn’t have any interceptions and limiited passes broken up he’s had a “bad game” in your book.
  8. I agree, 30/38 for 392 yards is a great game. I’m looking forward to Michigan / OU this weekend. That’ll be their first true benchmark, Michigan prides itself on their DL
  9. Can’t provide that info, figures.
  10. OHSt had one sack. Think their defense got it done or were they MIA?
  11. Quinn was overrated and shouldn’t have been a 5 star. He never had quick reaction with his footwork and ability to throw the deep ball.
  12. They love the deep ball in camps. They don’t teach touch. They teach rip it.
  13. After yesterday's performance some might want to take their Arch cards and clothes-pin them to their bicycle wheels.
  14. Figured you could give a breakdown on pressures, you said he wasn’t MIA. Share it with the class…
  15. No he was NOT! Cade often left the pocket too early or held the ball too long. Often times mobile qbs look as if they're under tremendous pressure when most of that pressure is of they're own making. LSU wasn't man handling Clemson at the LOS.
  16. 100%. Still a lot to prove but go watch the highlights. Accuracy is accuracy.
  17. My point exactly 💯. People need to understand Ohio State would beat both Florida and OU BY DOUBLE DIGITS PLUS. None of those teams would stand a chance against them period.
  18. Mateer played Illinois St. yesterday. Let’s see if he can throw for 392 yards against Michigan and Auburn
  19. No pressures? How many plays did he blow up and let others get the tackle? I’ll let the coaches who actually watch film grade him.
  20. What makes you think OU offense could beat us in a shootout. Their oline is not very good.
  21. Quinn made the easy throws, now Arch needs to do that too.
  22. I see your point but as long as the defense plays like they did yesterday minus the badly timed penalties I don’t see Texas having to get into a shootout. They need to be able to score 24-28 points a game and they should win.
  23. @CJ Vogel I think what some people have overlooked was impart this is OSU being able to gameplan for Sark's offense really well, having had data and played against it before-but Texas having to guess a bit at what the defense would do. I do give Arch a pass on this game but this week I would work on fundamentals, fundamentals, and more fundamentals! Back to basics is the word and key this week and a couple weeks to hone those practices before Florida! Just my 2 cents.
  24. Simmons had two total tackles, one solo, no tackles for loss and no sacks. For the best edge in the country “according to Rod”, you expect him to have a bigger impact than that. That stat line in a top 5 matchup is MIA. That said, he’s still a great player and only going to get better.
