Baylor hasn't had a loss this bad in almost 20 years! The last loss this bad was an 88-57 road loss to LSU on Jan. 30, 2006. That was the height of the Kim Mulkey-Pokey Chatman blood feud. It was a rematch of the national semifinal from the year before (a win by Baylor over LSU on their way to Mulkey's first title).

As shi**y as they played in the back half of the season i am hoping it’s not them. It’s amazing what coaching continuity and the portal can do for a swiss cheese secondary. I guess nobody remembers how bad our secondary was in 2024? Just to come back with one of the best secondary’s in 2025 mainly because of coaching continuity and the right pick up’s in the portal.

And, as others in the thread have pointed out, this team isn't at full strength.

There are very few teams in the country, if any, that can keep up with Texas from a physicality and ball pressure standpoint for 40 minutes.
