  1. Past hour
  2. I am wishing we were able to watch it as well. But the short answer is no... go ahead and fire that drone up though! lol
  3. 1) Mack was a great head coach here for much of his tenure. Without him there is no Vince Young here, and no NC in 2005. 2) To say he is thin-skinned and petulant would be a massive understatement. At this point he should be kept away from the program as much as possible. You don't have to choose between two things. They can exist together.
  4. I meant to post this yesterday in honor of it being 96 days till kickoff. After going up 14-3 in the 2nd quarter, #1 OU was feeling full of themselves with Sam Bradford under center. Then Jordan Shipley kicked em in the nuts with the play that completely turned momentum in favor of the Horns. 96 awesome yards returned on OU's kickoff for a TD. The longest kickoff return in the history of the red river shootout. #5 Texas went on to beat the #1 Sooners 45-35. Quan Cosby and Jordan Shipley both went over 100 yards as Colt threw 38/35 for 277 yards and Chris Ogbonnaya ran for 127 yards on 15 carries. Got to thinking about this game after listening to Rod and Jeff this weekend discuss the Athletic's Top 25 games of the past 25 yrs. Hook em!! 🧡 🤘🐂
  5. I bet it might only be the semifinals. But the staff are the pros in evaluations.
  6. Wow! Seems to have a really strong but accurate arm. He modulates his throws extremely well to ensure his receivers have a very well placed catchable ball. Any chance the public can watch this throwing session without a drone?? It will be fascinating.
  7. Fake news, very funny. 😂
  8. I've heard Texas A&M is making headway for Bastrop QB Weston Nielsen as well. Texas hosted Nielsen for the June 1 Elite Camp in 2024, but have not been in frequent contact.
  9. June 1 might be the determining afternoon.
  10. Langham Creek 2027 DL/EDGE Ezekiel Ayangbile tells OTF he will be in Austin June 1 ... Texas offer Sophomore HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2Qsfnc
  11. Who do we/you think they'll go all in for in the 27 class?
  12. Waxahachie (Tx) 2027 QB Jerry Meyer III will be in attendance June 1st to throw in front of Steve Sarkisian. Sophomore Hudl: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/19665053/66c9f2bf922f7c8e9dbc6a11
  13. Zeigler and Houston being in and working out the same day seems like the final audition for who will be the class take. I think it was this time last year Huhn and Bell camped at Texas for the same reason.
  14. Another factor when comparing success of college HCs and NFL HCs: college HCs have to literally win the commitment of their players. Pro HCs literally get lucky sometimes with guys falling into their lap, which is true for Brady and Belichick more than any player in NFL history. Even if VY was the only reason for Mack’s championship (he wasn’t), Mack still literally had to recruit and earn VY’s commitment, and deserves credit at least for that. Belichick was just the lucky schmuck who took a 6th round flier on a chubby QB from Michigan.
  15. Mack was 6-9 vs Bob Stoops. That is not as lopsided as it feels to you. That’s 2 games not going your way away from 8-7. What’s your opinion on Kirby Smart (owned by Saban) or Ryan Day (owned by Michigan), then? Dabo Swinney was getting owned by Jimbo Fisher until he wasn’t. Jim Harbaugh was getting owned by tOSU until he wasn’t. Just because a coach is not Saban-level dominant (which is video game level dominant), does not mean he’s not a good coach. Mack finished the 2 seasons prior to VY stepping foot on campus with 11 wins and in the top 10 in the country. He may have been on the verge of being fired like you say (highly doubt it). If he was, that’s not an indictment of him. That’s an indictment of out of touch fans like you.
  16. Selling 4 tickets to all games except the Friday game at 1:00. Section 101 row 14 seat 1 (aisle seat) is right in front of the other 3 seats on row 15 seats 1-3 (aisle seats). This gains you access to all games except the very first game of tourney. Asking 275$ for all 4 tickets, message me if interested.
  17. He's interesting. Not what Sark normally recruits at QB. Much more of a sandlot HS QB that does a lot of things that won't translate in SEC at QB IMO. But a talented athlete for sure ... legit DI in FB and hoops.
  18. I don't wonder why y'all think that. It's obvious y'all are miserable and incapable of moving on and wishing someone well. It's weird and juvenile, but we can't stop you.
  19. Today
  20. Yo boi really got NBA Centeled
  21. VY was generational talent, and I'm guessing your assertion was that Mack gravy-trained VY's success and called it his own. Colt was a 2-3 star nobody that at one point, won more games than any other QB in college football. Does Mack deserve credit here?
  22. Great footwork, sufficient speed and he can throw it through the eye of any needle he sees on the field at any time.
  23. Mack only won big games when he had Vince or Colt to a lesser extent. Mack was absolutely owned by the best coaches in the conferences he was part of. He's an above average HC that struck lightning with Vince. He was about to be fired had Vince not carried him to a title.
  24. My bet is on K Bryant for the offer. He's a 4 tool player and great at the entire 4 tools. Very Mahomes-like IMO. Of course, the other QBs mentioned are very talented as well.
  25. So Mack is has had 26 winning seasons to 8 .500 or below seasons without Vince. No coach’s success is more tied to one player than Belichick.
