DeBoer did state Ty Simpson would be the starter today if there was a game for the Tide.

I have a lot of respect for him for getting into a no-win situation, following Nick Saban at Alabama. If he won big last year, he did it with Saban's players. Yet, he's a bum by going 9-4. I think they'll be better with Ryan Grubb back with DeBoer as OC.

And we've got to mention Vernon Broughton! Snubbed from the All-SEC team last year, but he made up for it by going in the third round of the draft. He's part of a 2020 recruiting class that was big in helping Sark get things rolling on the Forty.
