Limped into the post season and then limped out of it. SEC championship exceeds all expectations. Better days are ahead

Felt like this team punched way above their weight all season. Injuries and just kinda falling back down to earth a little. Still think they should have advanced to the supers.

A few thoughts: We should be proud of this group. Obviously a very disappointing ending and embarrassing to be honest but none of us had the expectation that this team should win the SEC. We all knew throughout the season that this team was overachieving and had a magical run throughout the first 21 games of SEC play. They just ran out of gas and losing Jared Spencer was too much to overcome. Texas will attack the portal and Schloss will bring in guys he thinks will be Dudes. Dylan Volantis is going to be a superstar next season and I would think might be the Ace or Saturday guy of the staff. Schloss’s best teams are ahead of him and I have no doubt he will win this program a National Championship. I think the Will Gasparino experience should be over.

Also, that UTSA team can really play. Wouldn’t shock me if they make it to Omaha.

It's a hamstring, so the only thing that will heal it is rest. It's nagging at this point.

Team peaked too early and was ultimately rocked by Spencer’s injury. That had a huge ripple effect on the rest of the staff and pitching was never the same after. Also stinks that Gasparino and Flores lost their bats about 2 months ago and never found them. I agree with the sentiment that this team probably overachieved early for what it was. That said, great first season for Schloss and hope he is ready to re-load for 2026.

I told him at the Arkansas series to not get hurt before football season lol!! I knew he had some issues. Is it just a minor injury?

Strange that the Longhorns couldn't find some heart or fight against UTSA in any of their matchups this season. Tip of the hat to the Roadrunners. Sour end to a great season. Coach Schloss turned the ship around and should be able to build on this.

I doubt it. He needs to get his hamstring right.

Great Agree. Great regular season. Look forward to seeing how Schloss builds the team for 2026. Now it’s time for Texas Women’s Softball to bring their best against Tennessee tomorrow. 🧡🐂🤘🏼

I never thought of this as anymore than a rebuilding year and shook my head a lot at the rankings. From my POV we way overachieved in reality and underachieved based on flawed rankings.

Great season!! Pathetic outing this regional! Schloss will win alot here I do believe!!

Sad end to a great season, but a better than expected season

It's a shame Belyeu got hurt and missed a chunk of the season. He's a tremendous talent who will be a few million dollars richer in a few months.
