  1. Past hour
  2. You guys read faster than I can edit, type and post! Ha!
  3. Thank you for reiterating this because I was scratching my head over here trying to make sense of the Siani signing.
  4. i don't know what to say here....never change @Joe Zura 🤣
  5. Great point by Rod B on the livestream that we may be witnessing an evolution away from Flood’s “large humans” philosophy to “athletic (and still large) humans” on the OL going forward. I’m all for it. Most of the enormous OL recruits who have cinder blocks for legs simply have not panned out.
  6. Apparently there is one who still may enter the portal the coaches are waiting on....similar smoke to an elite OT that was supposed to enter today, and did - Sinai. The kid has to decide to go in though,
  7. Wake Forrest didn't have the money to pay a football player and they think they have the money to go head to head with Texas lawyers? Go ahead and do it, you'll push your football program back into the stone ages.
  8. I am fine not getting Seaton but where are the elite guards we are supposed to land ? they dont have much time to enter
  9. How does Siani compare to Sprague?
  10. If Seaton wanted to come to Texas, he shouldn't have waited so long...if he gets in early enough, Texas could have made an investment. Instead something almost as good came in with a much lower price tag.
  11. I'm ok with losing out on seaton. We got another solid Tackle in Siani or possibly even a guard. As long as the line is shored up then I'm good. So far it's playing out that way. Just another starting interior OL or maybe 2
  12. And that’s perfectly fine imo
  13. It only makes sense Bobby. Go spend on needs/depth that will help this year.
  14. UPDATE: The calculus with Seaton has clearly changed with the signing of Melvin Siani. While I can't say Texas is completely out of it, the thought process has changed. Siani and Goosby are both tackles. Seaton is a tackle. I can not sit here and tell you with 100-percent certainty that Texas is out of it with Seaton, as some are reporting. But I can tell you the calculus has absolutely changed.
  15. on to a top guard. western ken has a goodun
  16. Yeah, I saw it now says they are on the prowl for an IOL...I am sure that opinion changed after speaker with sources, but it doesn't make sense to construct a roster with 4 tackles making $1mil+ each when you only start 2 of them.
  17. Seaton isn't coming - Texas should cancel the visit because there is no where to put him. Take those efforts and get an inside guard with experience and best players available at other positions. Build your depth.
  18. This is why we're playing a Left Tackle and a Left-Most Tackle in 2026.
  19. Real G's move in silence
  20. UPDATE: The calculus with Seaton has clearly changed with the signing of Melvin Saina. While I can't say Texas is completely out of it, the thought process has changed. Saina and Goosby are both tackles. Seaton is a tackle. I can not sit here and tell you with 100-percent certainty that Texas is out of it with Seaton, as some are reporting. But I can tell you the calculus has absolutely changed.
  21. @Gerry Hamilton is Seaton a better Tackle prospect than Goosby?
  22. Texas still definitely having conversations. The main question at any point on Seaton for me ... would he really go somewhere he wasn't assured of being the LT. He the top projected LT in the 2027 NFL Draft.
  23. Nice job of Bobby editing the mods only post to remove Seaton!
