  1. Past hour
  2. OnTexasFootball reports that Michigan OT commit and 4-star++ Malakai Lee (Honolulu, Hi./Kamehameha) is on campus today for the Texas vs. Texas A&M game.
  3. Well that sucks. Part of the reason I dislike NIL. I've no problem with players getting paid but it makes recruiting seem like a moot point most of the time. Might as well just come in and say here's how much we're willing to pay, let us know lol. I mean seriously, what is the point of relationship building when most guys are just chasing the bag?
  4. If he puts in the effort he will be developed regardless where he decides to play.
  5. Alabama did it too. We’ve reached the tipping point in the chase for money where major schools have priced out the average fan for games worth watching, and the best return on investment is suites for big donors and corporate interests over raw attendance.
  6. Today
  7. Eh sometimes she goes and sometimes she doesn’t, it sucks but at least it’s not another SEC school. The staff probably has a cap for high school they do not want to go over, if UNC is offering him a bag just use our left over NIL towards a contributor somewhere.
  8. this season has been a beating. we are having an aggie year
  9. Looks like Texas is out of money.
  10. Oh well. Let him make that trash decision. Don’t need that crap here
  11. Didn’t play Arkansas in 1999. Played them in 2000: lost to OU, lost to Ark, beat TAMU
  12. Currently the worst job for a coach is UCLA. UCLA has no money as they currently pay $10 million a year as a penalty to the California system for joining the B10 Their NIL is among the worst in Power 4 Their fanbase has better things to do in LA then go to a football game
  13. Wow, you are so cool
  14. Yes, sorry for the confusion. I was trying to make the point that Mack got better through his tenure against our rivals. 1999: 1-3, beat OU, lost to A&M, lost to Arkansas 2003: 1-3, lost to Arkansas, lost to OU, beat A&M 2004: 2-1, beat Arkansas lost to OU, beat A&M 2008: 3-0, beat Arkansas, beat OU, beat A&M
  15. By exhausting I mean frustrating tbh, all year you follow the recruitment of a guy, they commit and you're happy they chose your school and then at smallest sign of friction they go elsewhere or threaten to go elsewhere
  16. Gotta be honest I'm all for the players getting paid but all this roller coaster every year about whether kids are gonna stay or not because of NIL deals and recruits decommitting is pretty "exhausting" as a fan... Can't imagine as a HC. Hope Terry doesn't transfer, always liked him.
  17. And right on schedule the overreaction’s in this thread are aplenty. Best of luck to him if he prefers to chase more money to win a couple games a year and not be developed.
  18. Oh, I had to think about this comment for a while to understand it. You switched your antecedents midway through the comment. He was 2-2 vs Arkansas in those 4 tries, but 7-5 cumulatively vs the three in those 4 seasons. The other 3 losses were to OU.
  19. July’s starting early this year.
  20. When researching, I was surprised to see he had four opportunities. In those four seasons, he went 7-5 against them, with five of those wins coming the 2004 and 2008 seasons.
  21. Will be a straight up NIL move if it happens, as expected.
