  1. Past hour
  2. Didn't know if Schloss would change it up or not. He's not. Jonah got the start.
  3. Lytle fouls off the first pitch from Harrison and we're underway.
  4. The game is starting on ESPN+. It will switch over to SEC Network when the Duke-Georgia game in Athens goes final.
  5. UTSA took batting practice on the field. Texas chose to take BP in the indoor cages.
  6. Jonah is living that two-sport life at all times.
  7. It's basically a coin flip. What clouds it is Jonah only has nine at-bats against lefties this season (2-for-9). Farmer has more experience, but he's hitting .184 against LHP.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Starting farmer vs lefty and bringing in Jonah if they switch to a righty later is probably the most correct move. However my debilitating inability to make rational calls when it comes to teams and players I’m passionate about are why I would let Jonah ride and I am not allowed to gamble actual money on anything.
  10. From a body type standpoint, I've compared Justus Terry to Lamarr Houston regarding former Longhorns. Gerry's Rashan Gary comp is good too.
  11. If you make a clutch play against the Aggies, you're a made man.
  12. I was in Oklahoma during the game and appropriately dressed in burnt orange.
  13. FWIW, Myles didn't pitch against Texas on March 18.
  14. It's now showing that it's available for those interested in getting one.
  15. Hopefully the good luck on the diamond continues
  16. The backwards K hat available through Teagan Kavan's online merch store is already sold out. https://shoppatched.com/collections/teagan-kavan
  17. Pat Hallmark pulls a swerve, going with Myles instead of Owens. Since UTSA is going with a lefty, I wonder if Schloss will go with Tommy Farmer over Jonah Williams in left field?
  18. I hate to say it, but this is like predicting that Vince Young would be better than Donnie Little. I mean you’re correct, but I don’t know how many kudos that deserves.
  19. Good luck tonight. I hope we have our hitting shoes on.
  20. We're still waiting for the lineup to be posted, but the expected pitching matchup is Luke Harrison (5-1, 2.98 ERA) for Texas and Braylon Owens (7-2, 4.48 ERA) for UTSA. Owens faced six batters when the Roadrunners beat the Longhorns at Disch-Falk Field on March 18, 8-7. Owens struck out one and allowed one hit in 1.2 innings.
