This may be a dumb question but are there rules about wearing "weighted" pads to add a few pounds? -

...mind you in the toughest conference in the country, he has three Elite 8's, one loss in the final 32, and last year's Final Four. He has the top recruiting class coming next year. How will we fair this year? The top seed is important. This is an amazing run in just six years! Coaching matters.

Thanks for the advice. I never thought to look there.

Agree! At least with Mack you had some flashes but Charlie was just pure trainwreck. The biggest misstep Mack made imo was try to change the offense in 2010 to a power running game with a QB that specialized in spread/RPO like Gilbert did at LT. Le Sigh, darkest time is right before the dawn right?! -
Wait a minute. If I don't see ads then how will I know what to buy?

It's certainly "Riddling" how a couple of coaches could oversee that kind of ineptitude. -

Awful, it’s the time that shall not be named. Much like Tom Riddle… -
I was really hoping in the OSU and Florida game specifically that PK would’ve dialed up some blitzes/pass rush with ant hill and Simmons on the same side to really get after the QB and get them off their spot. We didn’t and ultimately like the guys have said that’s why Sark moved on to Muschamp.

This is fantastic for him!! Great outcome for a great coach!

Yeah. That is a massive hole. A quick google search shows only 2 offensive players drafted at all during that time. Marquise Goodwin and Geoff Swaim. Goodwin was awesome but he went "old school" with #84. But 2 offensive draft picks over 5 years is rough. -

Devin Duvernay was the only player to wear No. 6 to get Drafted. Collin Johnson was the only player to wear No. 9 to get Draft. -
Sometimes you just get bored throughout the offseason. That is where we are today. Hopefully this conversation topic helps waste some time for folks at work! I charted every player who has worn a single digit number on the offensive side of the football for the Texas Longhorns since 2000. Light green - draft pick Green - top 3 round pick Dark green - 1st round pick Gold - award winner

Pete Kwiatkowski Finds a New Gig
Bunk Moreland replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I’m grateful to PK. At his best, he has fielded some of the nastiest defenses in the country and among the best Texas has had this century. The advanced metrics suggest that the 2024 defense—especially against the pass—was historically good. I was not always a fan of his passive/conservative approach in situational football moments, but there is no doubt that he helped make Texas an attractive destination for elite defensive players once again. -
Good luck to him. I've never been a fan of the "bend but don't break" defensive style but the numbers don't lie, we were one of the best defenses in the country when he was DC.
