  1. Our lack of draftable offensive talent says a lot. We have enormous talent in the wings but we sure dropped the ball last offseason. I think we would have made the playoffs if we had added another WR and OG.
  2. Oddly I saw him watching a home football game in one of the boxes last year, so he must be in good graces of the admin despite him being pushed out last year. (and no it's not my box, but a friend has one)
  3. Their queso is by far the best queso I’ve had anywhere. This is a great tradition that OTF should do on game days too. I always head over there after games to have a beer while traffic thins out.
  4. If only there were bigger problems to solve.
  5. He'll probably get some type of probation or other deal that no normal person would receive, but will likely keep him out of the tournament either way. Reminds me of Romance Taylor 20 years ago, just so stupid to potentially throw away your entire career over an illegal side hustle (ESPECIALLY in the NIL era). I can understand personal consumption but this clearly isn't that.
  6. Good luck to him. I've never been a fan of the "bend but don't break" defensive style but the numbers don't lie, we were one of the best defenses in the country when he was DC.
  7. Feels like Beck is going to throw an INT here to close it out.
  8. It felt like he had 10+ block in the back or holding penalties that absolutely killed us on punt and kickoff returns last year. Best of luck to him but he really needs to clean that up.
  9. Great play there. What a fun game to watch despite all the bs appeals and challenges.
  10. The career stats that we're losing with these two players: Zina: 13 tackles, 2 sacks Ffrench: 1 catch for 6 yards Granted they would have better stats if they got more playing time, but we're not losing much production. They can probably get a lot more playing time elsewhere which will also help them develop. Good luck to both young men.
  11. Using Jeff's "bust rate" calculation and ignoring the most recent class given it takes at least a year for most OL to develop: 2024 Kibble (OG) - bust Cruz (C) - bust Baker (OT) - starter = 67% bust rate 2023 Chatman (OG) - bust Cojoe (OG) - bust Kirkland (OT) - bust Stroh (OT/OG) - mixed bag, started a few games but passed up by a true freshman Goosby (OT) - starter = 60-80% bust rate 2022 Campbell (OT) - NFL draft pick Banks (OT) - first round NFL pick Neto (OG) - bust Agbo (OT) - bust Hutson (OG) - starter Williams (OT) - NFL draft pick = 33% bust rate 50-57% aggregate bust rate. These HS OL classes we're taking in are also getting way too small.
  12. Incredible play by TCU to end the game.
