Even that won't matter if the other team has great backcourt players. My example is the mid 80s Celtics had the best frontcourt ever, but they couldn't beat the best point guard ever in Magic. Not to mention that Kobe as a shooting guard was more important than the most athletically gifted player ever as Shaq. Jerry West told Shaq that Kobe was already better than him when Kobe was 17 in July 1996.

It's really crazy that Miller said that crap. If you have Parrish, McHale and Bird in the frontcourt, you can win. But you can't beat a great PG like Magic if he has two frontcourt guys. Texas never gonna have Parrish, McHale and Bird in the frontcourt. That's really the dumbest thing I've ever heard from a college basketball coach. You don't need a PG to win? Is he smoking dope?

Former Texas signee and defensive back (finished at SFA) has been hired in the recruiting department at Texas. He was previously at Texas State. He signed with Texas out of Beaumont Ozen in the 2008 recruiting class.
