  1. Past hour
  2. Turns out 10.23 solves a lot of route-tree questions
  3. Committing on the 14th
  4. Upcoming Bey packages(replaces Niblett package) but adds passes would be Legendary!
  5. That's where my mind has gone as well. Twitchier with comparable speed.
  6. Niblett is also a Junior and maybe they want to replace that type skill set because it has won us some games this year. Bey seems similar speed, twitch, and versatility.
  7. I wouldn't count out RB as a possibility for Bey either.
  8. Could this also be that Lott is getting a good NIL offer from Oregon that’s too good to pass up.? We want a similar athlete for cheaper to allocate those funds elsewhere?
  9. Hopefully not too late with this offer. He’s a stud. Tennessee commit but visited Ohio st recently
  10. Twitch > size and length
  11. Perhaps, they have similar physical makeups
  12. I remember last year it was discussed that Texas was going after a lot of long-limbed WRs like Ffrench, Lockett, and Terry. It seems like they've pivoted back to smaller, and more twitchy WRs this cycle with Bishop and now Bey.
  13. Does this have anything to do with Lott? Staff losing confidence in flipping him?
  14. Bey Junior Hudl: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/19730936/66dbf7cd5b3f19c576a06286
  15. Texas has offered 2026 North Forney ATH Legend Bey, a current Tennessee commit, Friday afternoon. Bey is a freakish athlete. He plays quarterback and has offers at the position, but long term his highest ceiling position is at receiver in my opinion. I watched him at the Under Armour Dallas camp earlier in the year where he shined at the receiver spot in 1 on 1’s. Bey boasts elite speed, clocking a wind-aided 10.23 time in the 100m in April. Previously he had been sitting in the low 10.6’s. Sarkisian is in DFW, and this offer should be something to monitor moving forward.
  16. It wouldn’t really surprise me if it’s a 35-30 game or something along those lines
  17. If that's the case, then I don't agree with the sentiments to get the running game going this week. We should push the throttle down even further with tempo and short passes to start and attacking down the field later. I'm confident we'll score points, it's the other side of the ball that worries me in that game. Gunnar Stockton hasn't been sacked much this year and our secondary is very shaky right now with Taffe and McDonald banged up. We can't count on Guillbeau and Littleton to shutdown their assignments all game. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes 32+ pts to win this game.
  18. Today
  19. Yea its on SEC network so I’m able to watch the match!
  20. How can TTU pay two guys $6M with a $20.5M revenue share cap?? 🤔
  21. I think Watts was out versus Houston. Barron sat the first half. And Houston had a 1st and 2nd round draft pick on that offense. Holgerson threw some good pick action in there. TCU, in part, took advantage of a banged up Barron. Also looks like Hoover started 6 games with his 2nd lowest passing total was versus Texas. Of the 300 yards passing, 230 were to relatively highly drafted players. They also had a higher 3rd round olinemen drafted. Versus KSU, the D was pitching a shutout until the refs passed on calling PI on Worthy. Then blocked punt. KSU started with 6!punts and only two first downs. After 10 possessions, they have 7 punts, two turnovers, 1 TD. Think what’s his face broke the pocket on 3rd and long for a completion for a first that ultimately led to a TD on the that drive. Then back to back TDs after turnovers game them short fields. They hit up several screens too. KState was not overwhelming talented, but they had NFL level guys on the offense too. There were limited pressures in those games too. Some good talent and coaches that can get them open as well. The LBers were at the heart of a couple pivotal plays too. Sure the secondary whiffed some, but I don’t think it was a scheme issue rather than a confluence of factors.
  22. Although the thread is referring to this season's Tech team, I would imagine they will be the highest or second highest bidder (behind) Aggy in the Cam Coleman sweepstakes, but like mentioned in a previous thread, the biggest drawback to spending that amount of money on one player is it hurts your depth. What if that star player you spent big on gets hurt? It's a catch 22 for sure.
  23. Forget depth- it remains to be seen how well Tech’s front line starters would hold up against teams that are actually talented and not G5 teams with makeup
  24. Right? Texas would have been EVISCERATED if they spent as much as Tech only to poop the bed vs ASU.
  25. Tech doesn’t have a deep roster and it remains to be seen how they will compete against teams with deeper rosters if they make the playoffs. They’ve played very few teams worth a crap. They can throw out $3m to one guy or $1m to a few guys. What would their record be in the SEC where those DL would face many more future NFL OL.
  26. If Texas and TAMU switched their marquee non-conference matchups (Texas @ ND week 2, TAMU @ Ohio State week 1), we would probably still be #1 in the country (if undefeated) or in the Top 5 (if we had lost a game). ND is severely overrated and we matchup very well with them. That ND win is doing championship level lifting for TAMUs season right now. Other than that, they have nothing but non P4 non conference + the bottom half of the SEC. The discrepancy between Texas, TAMU and Tech has everything to do with differences in schedule. The difference between Texas and TAMU’s schedule is drastically different than the mainstream SOS/SOR rankings indicate due to hyperinflation of ND. Tech DOES NOT have the best DL in the country. They just get to go up against Big12 scrub OLs while our DL more than holds it own vs SEC OLs
