    Except for 66 and 67 , we were in the hunt for a Natty. Our 61 , 65 and 68 team could beat anyone. One of the few advantages of being old, got to live through the sixties. Country was a mess but Horns bailed me out.

    Know this is not what the thread is about but in the Wishbone days. VY at QB, Earl at FB, Bijan and Charles at halfback. This thread brings to light haw many great RB we have had . Had some great ones way back in my day like Saxton and Gilbert. Chris Gilbert was a great college RB back in his day.

    Watched more than i ever have. One thing I have learned, refs suck in soccer too.

    Was easier to get to Omaha back in the day. Was not easier to win it . Fewer elite programs but Okie Lite, Miss State, Miami , Clemson, and who ever came from West Coast , Fullerton, USC etc were tough outs.

    Really like him, He sure looks the part. Know he needs time but have a feel he will be elite.

    He has a great record at LSU . I agree with everyone, we need to be competitive in NIL .

    Not sure on this but did LSU not have a huge portal class last year?

    To me, the jury is still out on him. He was a freshmen . He will get better. We will have to face him next year.

    Can not choose between Hampton and Studdard, Other two I like a lot also.
