My point is, with very little game film and a very long injury history, Vasek isn’t going to have a lot of options, especially at power 4 schools. Signing Vasek is literally gambling with your NIL funds.

Since he can't go to Oklahoma because it would be an in conference transfer... my bet would be a Big 12 school. Kid doesn't wanna fo far from home..obviously from his first go round with recruiting.

In Vasek’s case it could simply be because they can’t depend on him to be on the field. Where’s he going to transfer to with almost no film?

So.... I've stated here a few times that when we lost out on D.K. Moore... initially, I like many, was devastated. Then I quickly reevaluated the situation and the job done by this staff so far, and I started asking myself the right questions. Granny used to say time reveals all. She was so right. So, he chose Oregon...right? Dan Lanning...right? Of course we know Coach Samples and Phil Knight mainly got it done, along with Evan Stewart's co-sign... but in effect, he chose a coach that doesn't do it for clicks...right? Well, why the hell is this freshman reciever that hasn't played a down appearing on The Pivot, with a kid who chose the very same coach he threw stones at? Why isn't there some national outrage about Dan Lanning letting his freshman that haven't done jack 💩 parade around like he's a Buffalo... doing it for the "clicks"? Also, why would I wanna play for such a hypocrite? There are some other elements at play here that the family isn't in tune to. This kid is all about himself. He never would've fit any culture Wednesday. I'm not saying he's a bad kid... im saying he's a self-centered kid...very self contained and too many people have told this kid how good he was for way too long. Long on talent..short on humility. I'm glad Sark does things the way he does things here. I like guys investing in the work, the process. Arch and the Manning family did it right. Until he earned the right to be in front of a camera, he worked. He didn't ride on his name or what he'd done in high school. CB4 wasn't on every pod he could get on being the #1 rb in his class. How about comparing the defenses Arch faced in ‘24 versus the collective stats of all of the defenses he would have faced if he had played a full season? Seems like a stretch, but maybe some type of predictive analytics of how he could perform this year?

Sorry guys… I don’t understand Pinkerton’s. It was one bad experience, but that’s enough for me to rule out an establishment. And I was eating at the original. Houston has an underrated BBQ scene. Lots of Vietnamese/Asian influenced places (try Blood Bros) and Corkscrew produces the highest quality brisket I’ve had. Only Terry Black’s in Austin has been that consistent for me. Nit-picking opinions about bbq is why Texas has the best bbq in the nation.

I think mine is similar. I’d love the plays charted, say 3 following series, anytime we’re up by 10 or more to see what happens. I’d contrast it against deployed personnel to see if it’s a combination of different play calls and subbing when we lose the spread. Defensively, I’d love to have the linebackers charted on gap integrity. Super basic - did they maintain discipline to the gap? Were they out of position? If the right gap, what % did they make the play. They’ll be crucial this year.

New rabbit hole suggestion, I have a theory that there was an extensive amount of middle pressure last year that affected both the passing and run game. Think it’s worth a look especially with the discussion we will be “better” up the middle this year. No pressure is good but I feel like middle always harder to deal with
