Desoto trailed SLC 37-21 in the 3rd qtr before 2 TD and 2 two point conversions to tie the game at 37. SLC scored to go up 44-37 early in the 4th qtr. DeSoto tied it at 44 then went up 51-44 with just over 6 minutes remaining. SLC turns the ball over on downs and the forces DeSoto to punt. SLC blocks the punt and took over at the 32. SLC completed a pass to the 2. Then was sacked and had 3rd and goal from the 10. A pass interference penalty gave SLC a first and goal at the 2 with under a minute remaining. DeSoto stopped SLC on 4th down at the one. DeSoto took over on downs and on the on the final play of the game Sarod Baker had a 99 yard TD run and DeSoto won 57-44.

The more I think about it the more my wishlist has shifted. I would love Baugh and Cam Coleman BUT… I think RB Kewan Lacy (Ole Miss) and WR Andrew Marsh (Mich) are the best fits for what we need on offense. I get Baugh is a punishing downhill RB, but Lacy has enough pop and has better home run ability. Wisner, Clark and Simon can’t hit homeruns. I think Cooper and Lacy can while both having requisite size 210+. Andrew Marsh at Michigan is also from TX (I believe we finished 2nd in his recruitment) and he is less redundant from a body type and play style from what we currently have in the WR room. Nick Marsh and Cam Coleman are big bodied dudes that get vertical for acrobatic catches. Andrew Marsh is a 3 level technician and separator in that 6’1” 185-190 mold that can be utilized in the slot, at Z/flanker or at X. Wingo, Marsh, Mosely/Livingstone/Lockett and Lacy/Wisner/Cooper would be deadly!

UConn carries 15 players on their roster. The NCAA allows 15 scholarships. USC carries 13 players although Juju Watkins is out for the year. At Texas we carry 12 players on our roster. Three of our girls are still getting healthy which will make a huge difference. We are redshirting our big Lovisa Hose from Sweden. She's 6'6". The development of Justice Carlton, Kyla Oldacre, and Jordan Lee have made a huge difference. Freshman guard, Grace Prenter from Ireland is playing more confident each game. The advantage we have over other teams resides in the combo of Rori Harmon and Madison Booker. No one has a duo like those two.

....we will need to be healthy because they are loaded. Watching them now beating the hell out of USC.

I read something awhile back about that loser. There was a Heisman signing event. Earl and Desmond were there. Campbell, always the friendly guy, was signing everything that was put in front of him. Howard would not sign anything that was related to Texas. I made my mind up about him immediately. I have no use for him.

Did you not see Desmond’s social media post 3-4 weeks ago about Sarkisian and Texas? He posted this scoop about Sark’s leaving UT as a mutual parting of ways that could be used by schools right before national signing day. Where was the Michigan scoop (his alma mater)? Clearly he’s tied in there to know that his man was messing with his assistant.

I know people keep posting and talking about Georgia and this stuff like it's gonna bring Georgia down. No one cares. When they win it all in a few weeks that's what will matter. Rinse and repeat.
