Federal legislation can be tailored to fit within the SCOTUS sandbox, or they'll push through legislation knowing it will make its way back to SCOTUS in an attempt to narrow their previous ruling. As for employees, you are correct. Schools are in a weird spot of wanting to cap the madness while not wanting to deal with the employment headache. We'll see. The current landscape will not be sustainable. -
OTF, YT golf (Bryson, GM, Rick Shiels), YT Tesla/EV stuff, Matt Mitchell, Apple music. That’s about it.

First CFB Coach To Be Fired In 2025

I'd be surprised if Napier gets fired. They have a pretty good squad and a really good QB/RB combo. I'd put money on Pittman being fired. Started off well at Arky but hasn't been able to continue that trend. I don't think OU is going to have a great year but I'm not sure what it would take it fire Venables. -

I can’t say I love all the changes to cfb over the last few years, but I’m more excited for this Ohio state game than I have been for an early season game ever. In the preplayoff era I used to have a combination of excitement and dread for these games knowing that a loss could sink the whole season. For example, if Ohio st had won the 2005 game there’s a good chance they’d have played USC in the Rose Bowl. Looking back it was crazy that the season was always on the line in the first or second game. Now with the playoff a loss would suck, but it wouldn’t derail the whole season. I hope we continue to schedule these big time games early. I’m here for it.

Danny Duncan is one of the best YouTubers ever imo. Also Ryan Trahan’s 50 states in 50 days series has been extremely entertaining

An oldie but a goodie in Angry Video game nerd, some national sports stuff, cowboys report (ouch). Some other game creators and other Texas sites.

Wes Huff (amazing biblical scholar) Joe Rogan (if the guest interests me), Flagrant (if the guest interests me) Various Christian podcasts (Bill Johnson especially). National sports stuff is still stuck in the formulaic, legacy-media style format which just absolutely bores me to death (can't stand listening to folks speaking in sound bytes......especially when they've done it for so long that they don't realize they are doing it.............it's like watching zombies walk) In this new age of media, authenticity is currency. That's why long-form podcasts are a hit (you can't fake it for 3 hours). I sense authenticity from Bobby so that's why I chose OTF as my lone sports source (I'm only a fan of the Longhorns.......no other teams, pro or college, interest me)

Political stuff I won't mention here. Because we need to keep this site politics free.
