  1. Past hour
  2. Appears the Aggies have adopted the strategy and methods of USC.
  3. Remember the last time Aggie had a #1 recruiting class? Their culture is what it is… doesn’t breed success… just some strange cross between humans and sheep.
  4. I was referring only to the lack of a requirement to pay the full 20.5 million in revenue share. I'm extremely dubious about the legal stability of the clearing house.
  5. Kenny Baker took a while to get going. Chillax folks.
  6. That’s the revenue sharing component, not the total compensation. I’m not sure a P4 school is going to be competitive on the field if they choose to not payout the $20.5M allowable to athletes under the revenue sharing component. So, the $20.5m revenue share acts as a “floor” for the total compensation athletes at a P4 school can receive. But the $20.5M revenue share is not the total compensation for athletes, and doesn’t act as a compensation “cap” for athletes. Legit NIL layered on top of the $20.5M revenue share is the total athletes compensation per school, and I don’t believe there can be any “cap” on this (legally). So, the $31M for Missouri in total compensation to athletes under NIL makes sense in this context. I also think this is where the “Texas spends $35M” rumor got started a few weeks back.
  7. A lot of y'all simply aren’t built for the recruiting game. Legislation, NIL, bags coming back strong, transfer portal, etc. It’s all in transition but Texas will get a very good to elite class every year so long as it stays interested in winning. Wanting vs needing vs getting a top 3 elite class every year isn’t realistic or even necessary to compete for championships annually. Right fit and above average players should be the floor.
  8. We are only 73 days away from the kickoff against Ohio State for the season opener. Who’s your favorite No. 73? Shaun Rogers Jonathan Scott

  10. 815 or this @Blake Munroe
  11. 8:15 on the dot or we riot, @Blake Munroe 😂😂
  12. So bring in UT Law??? I hear they are pretty good.
  13. Who works the loop holes the best and quickest around the house settlement have an advantage IMO.
  14. My apologies, didn’t mean to misquote you. It was when miller was first hired, so Must have just misinterpreted or mistook it for something else. Just was curious on how/if this changes things
  15. So you our advocating on entering a bidding war for talent? 🤔 Or just a temporary pre House settlement adjustment?
  16. Misery at $31M a year in athletics is likely unsustainable.
  17. I didn't say the one Goosby was waiting on, but did say the offer was expected to happen. Texas will be right there for Goosby. Texas OV will be in September
  18. See what happens. A&M is trying to win the head-to-head's vs. Texas in 2026. Up to Texas to not allow it to happen.
  19. Failing to get commitments from recruits who do not want to win on the field for Texas nor win in life off the field at Texas is not a loss. It is dodging a bullet. NIL bag chasers do not build great teams. Sarkisian builds great teams. 🤘🏻🏈🤘🏼🏈🤘🏈🤘🏽🏈🤘🏾🏈🤘🏿
  20. Just checking in on everyone’s mental this morning to make sure yall survived?
  21. @Gerry HamiltonWe knew it was coming sooner or later, but how much does this hurt Texas’ chances? I feel like I remember you mentioning this was always the offer he was waiting for? Has miller built a strong enough relationship that still keeps Texas in this?
  22. A school is not required to pay out the full 20.5. It's up to them. That's the max they can pay through revenue sharing.
