Baseball: Texas vs. UTSA Austin Regional game thread

It's basically a coin flip. What clouds it is Jonah only has nine at-bats against lefties this season (2-for-9). Farmer has more experience, but he's hitting .184 against LHP. -

Starting farmer vs lefty and bringing in Jonah if they switch to a righty later is probably the most correct move. However my debilitating inability to make rational calls when it comes to teams and players I’m passionate about are why I would let Jonah ride and I am not allowed to gamble actual money on anything. -
From a body type standpoint, I've compared Justus Terry to Lamarr Houston regarding former Longhorns. Gerry's Rashan Gary comp is good too.

Pat Hallmark pulls a swerve, going with Myles instead of Owens. Since UTSA is going with a lefty, I wonder if Schloss will go with Tommy Farmer over Jonah Williams in left field? -

I hate to say it, but this is like predicting that Vince Young would be better than Donnie Little. I mean you’re correct, but I don’t know how many kudos that deserves.

We're still waiting for the lineup to be posted, but the expected pitching matchup is Luke Harrison (5-1, 2.98 ERA) for Texas and Braylon Owens (7-2, 4.48 ERA) for UTSA. Owens faced six batters when the Roadrunners beat the Longhorns at Disch-Falk Field on March 18, 8-7. Owens struck out one and allowed one hit in 1.2 innings. -
Texas Boi1da started following CFP Cross Conference Play-In Games?
-
After watching CJ and Bobby debate their view of Commissioner Sankeys published rebuttal. I was thinking why not create a way to actually prove whomever is the better team or “conference” in that particular space that is debatable. With the SEC allegedly looking at inter conference play-in games for the 3, 4, 5, and 6 seeds for CFP spot. I think they should look at cross conference play-in games. Have the 3 & 4 of the SEC play the 3 & 4 seed of the ACC (3 & 4 B1G vs Big XII) ORRR take all four power 4, #3 seeds and the two highest ranked play each other then the two lowest ranked play each other and same with all four #4 seeds. Winners get in the CFP with a small amount of bragging rights for their conference. It’s always said that SEC’s depth is superior to other conferences I believe this is one way to prove it on the field. 🧡🤘🏾🤍🤙🏾 BTW…. I’m with CJ, Sankeys post wasn’t a flex, what’s understood don’t need to be explained.
