These last two innings, these cheapie two-out baserunners have been huge to prevent upchurch getting into too much or a groove, and getting some pressure Pack is a good base stealer who doesn't need to gamble like that against upchurch-neal. You wanna guess, ok, but if he doesn't go after your step and a half, shut it down and live another pitch

End of 3: Alabama 1, Texas 0

Awful base running mistake by Pack. He was headed to second and Upchurch never checked him. Pack, for whatever reason, decided to go back to first and was picked off, ending the inning.

Two-out infield single by Pack keeps the bottom of the third alive.

Great response by Harrison to stall any tide momentum. 2-3-4 easy peasy

Harrison retires the Tide in order in the top of the third.

Sucks for Pendergrass and for us. Hopefully it's just 2-3 weeks til he's healthy and he gets another chance to contribute. I liked what we'd seen

Gumbo comes into the game to run for Pendergrass. He gets stranded at second as Robbins flies out to end the inning.

What a gorgeous day for a baseball game.

Pendergrass might've aggravated his back running out that ball. And now he's on second after a wild pitch.

Upchurch should be out of the inning, but he played Pendergrass' chopper back to the mound about as poorly as you can. Texas has a runner on base with two outs for Robbins.

Larson tried to bunt his way on base, but a tremendous scoop by Vaughn nails him at first base for an out.

Alabama leaves the bases loaded in the top of the second, but Texas trails by a run heading to the home half.

Harrison gets Holt to swing and miss to get out of the inning.

A walk and Alabama has the bases loaded with two outs.

HBP and back-to-back hard-hit singles get Alabama on the board against Harrison. Texas trails 1-0 with one out in the top of the second.

Becerra goes fishing on ball 3!!!

Becerra swings and misses a two-strike pitch outside to end the inning. The Longhorns leave 'em loaded in the first.

Doza works a walk to load the bases with Becerra coming to the plate.

Disappointed Pack gave up on strike 3 before it crossed the plate! 🤷‍♀️
