You guys have a great team with generational receivers. We kind of shut down the passing game as well considering. I doubt many teams hold your 2 top receivers to under 50 yds each. Even the short throws that were completed required receive to make difficult catches. Quinn was so good at putting the short pass in a good spot to allow receiver to get some YAC yardage

1st game of the season...had a chance to tie it after playing (offensively) like sh1t all game.. Made a lot of mistakes and lost the turnover battle...things happen. Breath guys. It sucks but c'mon..

OSU executed better in key situations and made less penalties/mistakes. Being the home team played a role as well. We will get much better. We will have the motivation to get better. This loss could be a blessing. We will see.

I was surprised by the lack of enthusiasm and energy in this game, both from the teams and the crowd. For all the buildup, this game was actually a bit of a bore.

Am I the only one that thinks we should’ve won this game if we were aggressive as we were in the fourth quarter???? our defense held them to less than 270 yards of total offense and kept them at 14 points. wtf!?!?

Tough lost and Texas beat themselves today. There are some real positives from today! With that being said, Arch, Sark, and the wr core need to go back work and fix their issues. Arch missed balls all day, Sark’s play calling left alot to desire, and the wr core was a no show mostly. Defense is STRAIGHT ELITE despite the penalties and broken coverage. Texas is still playoff caliber.

Sark needs to talk about RZ play calling and being more willing to take the points.

Running game was more than competent. A big improvement from the last game. Baxter looked healthy. Punter is nails.

Some positives from me: Rushing for 166 yards on 4.5 ypc while holding them to 77 on 2.3 ypc bodes very well. Also, it’s not like Sayin ripped us apart. 126 yards through the air against the best WR room in the nation. Held the best offensive player in the country to under 50. 200 total yards. This is championship D. The offense will come together with time. If we are able to stop the run like THAT against OSU, I really think we could be special this year.
