  2. Raleek Brown posted today on Texas Football IG
  3. Team Notes from the Week *** First and foremost, a big win from WBB last night over No. 5 LSU at home. The top-5 matchup at Moody drew a sold out crowd and some familiar faces. Steve Sarkisian, Trevor Goosby and Colin Simmons were courtside for the game as well. Jonah Williams and many others were in attendance to support the team as well. Goosby remains in a sling following offseason shoulder surgery, as expected. Many of the early enrollees made the short trip over as well – Yaheim Riley and Jamarion Carlton were amongst the group. *** Couple of notes on early enrollees: – Carlton is going to be someone the strength staff molds to their liking this winter. His body type is like wet clay at the moment, there is going to be plenty of growth ahead for him. – Derrek Cooper looks the part in conditioning. Moves fluidly. – The frame and physical stature of Smoke Matthews has been impressive. *** One week away from first pitch for Texas Baseball as well. @Jeff Howe, @Blake Munroe and myself will have Bases Loaded filmed soon and it will be published this afternoon.
  4. From our good friends at The Athletic
  5. Assuming surgery around January 20-25 (based on photos showing fresh post-op status), he could resume training by March-April and aim for full participation in time for his senior high school season
  6. Good list. I barely remember Nobis, but he was fantastic. Loved Earl and Ricky, but Earl remains my favorite, particularly since he excelled at both UT and the Oilers. Too bad James Street could not get on that list too. He was a winner and a great baseball player too.
  7. This is awesome list right here, can tell it took a lot of thought and time! I thought Jordan Hicks may get a nod, but altogether a fun read.
  8. Today
  9. I always thought Dan Neil played tackle at Texas. Oh well!
  10. The inbound pass that Crump stole at the 5:35 mark in the 4th with Sidberry scoring was undoubtedly the loudest moment in Moody history. The crowd went absolutely nuts. Hopefully we can bring that energy when Beard returns.
  11. @Gerry Hamilton Is the poor post defense going to get us in the tournament? I know UConn can shoot it, but I haven't watched them to know if they can score in the post and force turnovers.
  12. The problem is that Kirby constantly spouts about "relationships," "discipline" and "doing things the right way." Truth is that he's not much different than Barry Switzer.
  13. Yep. Ben saying in our recruiting pieces Brewster is open to visiting Texas and others. But that torn labrum surgery won't help his NIL cause right now
  14. That’s a good one. You’ll get some bites.
  15. This list was looking good until they had Bert Auburn on there as a kicker praising his accuracy. I love Earl but IMO Ricky Williams is the greatest RB in Texas history. My guy Dan Neil on the list as C and G!! Mike Adams not on this list as a WR is problematic for me. Not having Simms or Applewhite as QB is questionable for me. Cedric Griffin needs to be on this CB list and you could easily make the argument for other guys like Aaron Williams, Jahdae, etc. The Safety list is INSANE and you could easily go another 4-5 there.
  16. @DanielOnoratoThese are not kids. These are adults, with multi-million dollar contracts. In the eyes of Texas, you stop being an adult at 17. Stop coddling.
  17. Lee is struggling some now and showing her inexperience a bit but she will come around in time, no doubt.
