Neil Leininger
This season was a success but it wasn't maximized because of the increased need from low basketball IQ players to play consistent basketball. They just couldn't deliver. Mitchell was much better overall this season, but was nearly unplayable against Tennessee. It also didn't help that Brock Cunningham for some unknown reason continued to make stupid decisions that cost him team points. 2 flagrant fouls in the NCCAT as a 6th year player. That's just unforgivable. He was playing the tournament games like a freshmen in the Cotton Bowl. Hopefully this season will bring an end to the Beard years at Texas. Should Texas move on from Hunter and Mitchell, there shouldn't be a player left that was recruited or coached by Beard. He had a poor 1.5 years of evualuation.
