Sarkisian has always had a good gameplan for them and gets the chunk runs we have been missing. Two weeks to get healthy and figure out how to get the running game and screen game going. Got to expect teams to run all out blitzes so have to adjust the route concepts to mix in a lot of quick hitters and take the candy teams are going to give us. Wingo and Coleman are good enough athletes to turn short throws into explosives as is Bishop.

I am not sure what the eff happened between the final whistle against OSU and the last 8 quarters of play, but Sarkisian has not done a great job with this team. Luckily we are 4-0, with everything left to play for and two weeks to prepare for what we will a very wounded OU team that will only be playing to ruin our season. Sarkisian needs to get this crap under control and figure out how to attack teams that are going to blitz the eff out of the running game to set up negative plays. Manning is lost again right now, as he's not a pocket passer. No matter what happens this season, Sarkisian really needs to move on from Flood, Banks, and Milwee. The OL was trash again today, STs are again awful under Banks, and we've had 6 seasons of Ewers/Manning not improving a single inch at the QB position. You'd think a guy like Sarkisian that has had everything taken from him, would figure out that he can't be prideful with his offense. Manning needs help and Sarkisian continues to throw everything on his plate. That said, Sarkisian's decision to hire Muschamp has saved this season, they would 2-2 right now with Kwiatowski's defense. That is what is so disappointing with his failure to move on from the offensive coaches that are under delivering results, because he was able to do the exact opposite with the defense.

Thank goodness for the defense tonight, Arch was crap the entire night. I think his eyes need to be checked. It was really bad, easily the worst performance of his career at Texas. If he can't take 2 more steps forward, we are losing 2-3 games.

In a game of stars it is usually the secondary players that have the big moments. We were just deeper than Ohio State, they don't have a Mosley or a Winston. Take away Smith from their offense and the passing attack was down to 9/16 for 114 yards and an INT, and 24 of those yards came on the insane broken play where the TE just ran down the field lost.

The difference for Texas in this game. 2 penalties for 12 yards. 100% RZ execution, with 1 FG after a dropped TD and 3 TDs. Two things that have dogged Sarkisian's teams in big games.

Despite Michigan, the Big 10 took one on the chin this weekend. Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, and Rutgers all lost to P4 conference opponents. Washington and Penn State looked like warmed over dog poop against Utah State and Temple. Iowa also survived ISU.
