Royal told Gerry Hamilton and I in Orlando that the only person his age he's met that he wasn't immediately faster with was Dillon Mitchell.

Thats crazy.    Are they going to want to run track in college as well?  Does Texas current track program negatively affect the recruitment here for either player?

I would assume they will at least explore it.

Royal said he met with Coach Flo on one of his Texas visits about the possibility of running at Texas. Texas has a very solid track program. It won't make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things though.

Men’s track won the indoor natty a couple years ago.

Coach Flo coached the Women’s Olympic Gold Medal winner in the 100 meters
