Adrian Rodriguez says he had discomfort with his hand last year when playing. 

Says he was unsure of what the true diagnoses was, but they put two staples in his hand and he’s been doing well since.

Carson Tinney says the expectation is to win a National Championship. 

Says he spends a ton of time with the pitching staff, from cookouts to time at practice and the weight room. He is doing whatever he can to become familiar with the pitching staff.

Ruger Riojas says he’s up to 205, gained about 10-15 pounds from a year ago. 

Riojas says he got sick with the flu, which turned into bronchitis, and lost about 20-25 pounds last year. Now he believes he’s back to where he was pre-illness

Max Weiner has a saying with the Texas pitching staff called being “hired hitmen”

Riojas said the staff has bought into that mentality.

Riojas said the staff has bought into that mentality. 

Burns says being a “hired hitman” is all about knowing your role in the pen. When it’s time to get a kill, get a kill. When it’s time to sit down, sit down.
