Dailyn has an interesting decision to make. If gets a guarantee … hard to say no. 
 

He would definitely have shot to bump up 7-9 spots in 2027 draft

saw this today. From Duke and Michigan to Texas is $4.5mm. We don’t have to make it all the way there right away but just keep adding each year

We aren’t as bad or far off as many would have you believe. And-it’s Millers first year. No one was investing in the prior product. No way

I think some are higher at the top specially duke. The boozer brothers were probably around 6 million and thats just with 2 players. I think our number is more closer to being accurate though because you can just see the talent disparity.

I could be wrong but you can declare for the NBA and test the waters and still come back, right? But if they participate in the combine?

Yes. There’s a 10 day window after the combine for prospects to return to school.

Think those are all a little low, and 3-4 considerably (meaning 1.5-2 mill)

Moving forward need 10.5-11.5 mill to feel really good about it on an annual basis in the current landscape

Stretch 4, but with defensive presence around the rim

Team runner/CG/PG ... best fit. Austin Goosby will play as a CG next year, but secondary to portal get. 

Off guard/wing that can shoot it, but also has defensive ability

Back up center with experience. 

Guard depth piece, has to be able to shoot it and handle ball pressure. 

Probably another roll player, as it stands today.

All depends on if he gets a first round "guarantee". If he does, he's gone. If it was any other draft, he would be a guaranteed first rounder. This draft is a beast from the top through the first round. Swain's one of 8-10 guys vying for 4 late first round slots IMO. NBA teams truly like him. 

If he doesn't get a guarantee, decent odds he returns for a final season - as of today.

Texas was already getting a decent bump up in year two. If it came down to needing a little more from one more player or in retention ... I can see it

Out of curiosity, how much of this is driven by shoe money?  These numbers make football NIL seem rational.  At the top end, these figures look like $1M per scholarship player.

What are realistic expectations for minutes per game for Goosby and Ogden as freshman? 
 

Also any chance that Codie looks to stay after him being called into action late in the season and giving valuable minutes?

Not every player makes 1M though I bet most bench players dont break 1million.

We need someone to replace Weaver. We need the energy off the bench guy not afraid to mix it up. I am sure that dude is hard to find.

Goosby 25+ ... if he shoots the three well in SEC player ... good chance to end up being a 1-and-done. Two year guy - at most barring the unforseen.

Ogden will play 15-20. Getting feet wet year for hiom, but very valuable piece on a quality team. His shooting will carry over well when playing with other high-major players all creating space and opportunity for each other. 

Codie ... that will be up to Texas IMO. He's at least made it interesting since Traore's off court issue took away the part of the season for him.
