Four-star OT visiting Texas April 6

The Texas Longhorns have added another 4-star unofficial visitor this weekend. Offensive tackle Lamont Rogers (Mesquite, Texas/Horn) informed OnTexasFootball Thursday night that he will be in Austin with him mom April 6. Rogers was originally scheduled to be at LSU this weekend, but changed plans to make the trip to Austin today.

Rogers, 6-7 and 300 pounds, is also scheduled to make an official visit to Texas June 14-16. He will make his first official visit May 31-June 2 to Missouri, and will be at Texas A&M the following weekend (June 7-9). Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma also remain under consideration.

The brothers plus Mills would be a good start.

Mills is very interesting to me ... I feel like Texas leads ... there are also so many family ties to Washington. How long does the recruitment play out? We shall see.
