I like this better than last year's rat poison when we were the pre-season # 1 team and Arch was the Heisman favorite projected to go # 1 in the 2026 NFL draft.

Agree.   I prefer less preseason hype.   The Ohio State game is shaping up to be a ridiculous head to head with 2 of the best QBs slinging the ball for 2 of the top 4 teams nationally in 2026 (assume ND and Georgia both in that mix as well)

We’ll know soon enough how good Arch and this year’s team really is, so all these preseason polls will quickly become meaningless.
