Florida DL to visit Texas for the spring game

The Texas spring game visitor list now includes another defensive lineman from the Southeast Region.

Port Orange (Fla.) Spruce Creek athletic 2025 defensive lineman Derry Norris tells OnTexasFootball that he will be making an unofficial visit to Texas for the spring game this weekend.

Norris, 6-3 and 265 pounds, was offered by the Longhorns defensive line coach Kenny Baker March 5. Since that time, Baker and Norris have been staying in constant contact. This weekend will be the first visit to Texas for Norris and family.

The Sunshine State athletic defensive lineman sports 35 offers. The offer list includes Miami, Texas, LSU, N.C. State, Missouri, Florida, UCF and South Carolina.

He has official visits scheduled to Georgia Tech May 31-June 2 and Miami June 7-9.

Defensive tackle. He will be 6-3.5, 300-310 pounds down the line with high end athletic ability.

My thoughts exactly. He should be 285-290 this time next year. 300 to 310 by his redshirt freshman year.
