Niblett says the coaches are trying to get him more touches in the offense.

McDonald says it’s his job to make sure the team remains focused and has “tunnel vision” towards each day of practice.

McDonald says Kobe Black played S in high school, mentions he’s doing really well at the position and comes as “second nature” in terms of playing the positions.

McDonald says the team bonded a ton over the summer — pickle ball, position group outings. 

Says the best at pickle ball is Warren Roberson “surprisingly”

Niblett says his favorite game — outside of return — was Kentucky.

McDonald says he definitely feels like the leader of the secondary. 

Says he has to approach each play like if he doesn’t say something, the guys won’t know what to do.

Niblett says Kohen, Wingo and Warren Roberson are the three fastest on the team.

Ryan Niblett opens up talking about his daughter, and how much motivation she brings him on a daily basis  

“Even on my bad days, I can come home and she’s smiling.”

Says he’s talked with former Longhorn Jaylon Guilbeau about being a dad in college.

Niblett says it’s much different this year in terms of connectedness within position groups. In comparison to a year ago.

“Oh that’s definitely been talked about.” Niblett says Banks brought up the stats and numbers on the penalties on special teams. 

Says the whole team is aware of the issue.

Niblett says Banks is the most intense coach, “he doesn’t know how to lower his voice.”😂
