Hook em All Day Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If you go on any of their boards, the claim it is because BV insists on running very physical practices at all times. Evidently, even during their bye week. So, yes, OU did in fact LOSE the bye week too according to their injury report!🤷♂️ 3 Quote

ArizonaLonghorn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago "Are they sand bagging the reports?" is the question I'd raise. What percentage of their listed "OUT" and "Doubtful" guys end up seeing the field? Same with "Questionable". If their percentages are not out of lane line (Lane K listed 26 guys as 'Doubtful' once, just fecking with the SEC suits) then I'm OK with it. Maybe they just have a lot of injuries, blamed on things listed above? But if they have a high percentage of miraculous recoveries of the "doubtful" and "questionable" then that could be evidence they are trying to throw off their opponents. 1 Quote

I think Venebles is lowkey a “let’s practice physically hard” psycho when things go bad. Per a sooner site a subscribed too (this week has been beautiful) he let the defense have at it against the offense on Tuesday. His answer to preparing the offense for Texas was to let them practice against the defense with full force. Hence some of the players appearing on the injury report. I understand toughening up your team, but damn aren’t you wearing them out ahead of time as well. It’s time for Texas to kill. 2 Quote

He expects guys to play through pain if they can. See Kip Lewis, and David Stone’s dislocated knee. Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted 25 minutes ago Moderators Posted 25 minutes ago Just an unrealistic level of physicality in practice. Demand for hitting is ridiculous in Norman 1 Quote
