Wonder if at some point Sark goes off the development of a QB route and just gets a proven QB in the portal instead? Last two NCs had transfer QBs. This year it’ll probably be another transfer QB that will win it all.

If Sark can't or won't call plays that suit a QB he's worked with for years what would happen with a QB he only has months to work with?

Checking the top 7 teams in latest AP poll - Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Bama and Texas have home grown QBs (Sayin was going to Bama but transferred when Saban quit so I'm counting him as developed by OSU).

Miami and Indiana have transfers, so 5 - 2 at the moment.

Let's wait and see ... I think the coaches really like Lacey and Bell, fwiw.
