Moderators Blake Munroe Posted May 27 Moderators Share Posted May 27 It wasn’t always pretty and it came with a lot of anxiety-filled moments, but the No. 1 Texas Longhorns are heading to the Women’s College World Series after beating Texas A&M in the super regionals this weekend. Texas will face the winner of Stanford/LSU in round one, which is taking place right now.
NothinButDaHorns34
Aggies definitely didn’t make it easy but today once again they learned big brother always prevails. 5

But they need to tighten up the defense and also the early part of the game. Glad I don't have to hear the never ending bs that I would have heard from my aggie neighbor if a$m had won.

I said it in the supers thread, but this Ags team was a heck of a lot better than that No. 16 shows. They got hot toward the end of the season and were playing like a top 5-7 team.
Adam Lane
Man, I hate sweating these out. Especially, against opponents like the sheep boys. Come playoffs, we always seem to make it harder than it has to be.

Class of 04
The Aggie pitchers were taking their frustration out on Attwood, I think they hit her three times with that one bouncing off her melon.

They're always at their most competitive when they have an opportunity to ruin our season.
Jerry K
Those girls showed a lot of grit last night against a team that played like a 1 seed. Teagan Kavan showed the kind of mound presence you see from a 3 or 4th year player not a freshman. Huge win for the program! 🤘🤘
FrancoBevo3.0
We should also remember, this team is very young. They were pushed into uncomfortable territory in this series and they found a way to win. Hopefully they will build on that heading into the CWS this week. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
