    Nothing except enjoy the process. He clearly loves the attention or he wouldn't put out all of the social media he has that has stirred up one fan base or another. Recent Florida posts, posts accenting UT or L$U gear, etc. All of it is "look at me" stuff. But that's the game these days. My main issue with him is the he's playing this game while supposedly being committed to Texas. But I don't consider him.a commit at this point. He can say he's committed all he wants, but he's also said that he is trying to decide. Trying to decide says he isn't committed anywhere.

    Actually the ones who love the process and the attention, like Royal, absolutely LOVE the crying and pants pissing. It feeds their egos and narcissism.

    It wasn't hard to figure out, but it certainly could have been made more clear. It would've made more sense to slide the DH into the 1 slot since the DH is batting for the pitcher. Then all of the other positions would be slotted in their position number, except for SS and 3B which are listed out of order.

    I'd be surprised if anyone has their tickets yet. Don't they usually get loaded in early August?

    Sure he can, but he's ineligible. Since he dropped his lawsuit, the restraining order is null and void. He would have to reinstate the lawsuit and request another injunction, I believe. Not sure you can go back to that well twice. The reaction from last time probably poisoned it significantly.

    I'd bet whatever device you're using to watch the game has an off button, along with the ability to watch other stuff. But you do you. 😁

    Roxie's is good diner food. Met a friend there for lunch about a month ago and had the chicken fried steak. The restaurant is owned by Scott Roberts, who owns the Salt Lick. It's in the Buda Grail &Mill location where Valentina's used to be.

    Campbell isn't the one behind the softball $$$. It's his partner, John Sellers. Sellers wife played softball at Tech and John doesn't want to get cut off in the bedroom. Edit: @GoHorns1 beat me to it one post above.

    Well, considering that you've posted that nobody but Mike White liked Earlywine, he doesn't always hire well. Sounds like they succeeded this year despite the groundswell of hatred for the guy amongst the players and staff.

    Yeah, I know that. That's why I said what I said. My point is that if KZ resigned due to Earlywine being part of White's staff, that reason no longer exists.

    Well, if Earlywine was really the reason for leaving, maybe she can rescind her resignation and hang around.

    I had the main broadcast and the alternate broadcast (on ESPNU) on two screens and switched listening back and forth (and sometimes had both on mute). TBH, I listened to the alternate broadcast more. Those ladies were mostly entertaining and not Tech homers. I thought their analysis and commentary was interesting, and they had all played on that stage when they were in college.

    Make you wonder if the NCAA did that because the UT softball team is playing for a natty on Wed and Thurs, with an if-necessary game on Friday. Sat-Mon for baseball avoids the potential conflict.

    I live in Buda, on the west side. My son has a house on the east side. I've lived in the general area for almost 60 years, but in Buda for only 10 years. Traffic is getting worse by the day/month/year. I never go into Austin unless I'm heading to a UT game or it's something that I can't do/attend without it.

    Welcome Hank! I've enjoyed your work at Horns247, so I'm happy you're here now. After Jeff left, I was put off by Kevin Ryan's comments and soured on Horns247 in general. I'm an old with subs to OTF, IT, and 247, but I primarily kept the 247 sub for the free access to other sites like CBS, Paramount+, and other team sites. I look forward to reading and watching your contributions at OTF! Cheers Hank!
