Moderators CJ Vogel Posted July 11, 2024 Moderators Posted July 11, 2024 Another tremendous addition to the future of the Texas Baseball program. Jim Schlossnagle and his staff have landed the No. 1 player in the state of Texas — Kayson Cunningham, an infielder out of San Antonio Johnson HS. Cunningham was previously committed to Texas Tech, though reopened his recruitment and made the decision to stay closer to home and pick the Longhorns. 17 Quote
Jimmy Two Times Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Is there any chance the #1 player in the state makes it on campus? 2 Quote
Adam Lane Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Wow! I knew we would rebuild, but, did not expect this! Tremendous hire. Pierce has never had a heater like this. Quote
TarrantCoHorn Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Would be awesome if he made it to campus. 1 Quote
jonbailey Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I don't follow college baseball very closely. How quickly do high-school players adjust to the college game? I know football players typically need time to get bigger and stronger but that seems less important in baseball. 1 Quote
