Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is on the podium following the big victory over UTSA.

Of course a lot of questions will go in the direction of QB Quinn Ewers and his health moving forward.

Sarkisian says the staff did not believe Jaydon Blue could go prior to the game due to an ankle sprain he suffered against Michigan.

 

Tre Wisner "got tweaked but probably could have gone back into the game" says Sark.

Sarkisian says he really appreciates the little things about this football team. Says he is proud about where the team is at after three games, but there are plenty of aspects that can improve.

Sarkisian says he has not been able to hug as many players in the middle of a game before this team came along.

Sarkisian and the staff had a gameplan for Arch before the game. It is better tailored for Arch's skillset than Ewers' obviously. 

But sarkisian saying the team prepares for different skills for Arch when it comes to playcalling and situations..

Sarkisian says Arch Manning came off the field and verbalized what happened when he was sacked in deep in his own territory. Sarkisian says he was pleased that the mental fortitude is there for Arch to piece things together in real time.
