Moderators CJ Vogel Posted September 22, 2024 Moderators Posted September 22, 2024 By my count, there have been 7 pass attempts beyond 25 yards by Manning in that first half. 3 Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted September 22, 2024 Moderators Posted September 22, 2024 Texas is allowing 3.3 yards per rush by the way. That's solid. 4 Quote

Arch might be amped up. Sark will get him right. He’s further along than Ewers was; but he’s got to throw some of these away. That ball to Blue was his 2nd worst throw all night (IMO). It was wide open and he juiced it. Quote

Texas is ripping off 3.4 yards per rush by the way. That sucks. (18 carries, 61 yards - Blue 15 for 66 yards, Gibson 2 for -1, Arch 1 for -4) What's going on with our run game? I understand it against Michigan but at some point soon we have to run the ball better, no? Edited September 22, 2024 by ArizonaLonghorn Quote
MarkInAustin Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 For the first time I notice a specific drop off - when both Gbenda and Hill are out. They are better at run containment than their subs, although Lefau and Mo are pretty good. Or so I think. Quote

I don't think the OL is quite playing to their ceiling yet either. 1 Quote

I'm glad the coaches take time to read these message boards at the half and figure out where the problems are (lol). 1 2 Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Arch is truly just a college kid. Quote

Evan Andreolli Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Sorrell will be a big loss next year. Such a good player. Not sure we have anyone who can stone pulling guards like he can and in general be a strong run defender. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 These refs seem to be enjoying making themselves more apart of this game than they need to be. Quote
Evan Andreolli Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 No flag for that is crazy! That was well after the play. Quote
4thandFive Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 I can’t tell if that’s on Arch or Blue. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 It’s like arch is afraid to use his feet to get yards if all the passes are covered up Quote
hookemrj13 Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 They were SWARMING Loving the swag the Defense has this year Quote

Deadhead_Horn Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 I may get crap for this, but I think the offense was pretty average tonight. Maybe even below average. The run game struggled but has picked it up in the second half. The passing game has been pretty flat since the close of the first half. A bit of a disappointing performance. The defense has been fantastic. 1 1 Quote
