This weekend was no different. Texas hosted SEVEN kids this weekend, including some top out of state talent. We’ve seen it already pay off when they landed Georgia infielder Reiston Durham. Perfect Game graded Durham a 9 (out of 10), which means they feel like he has the talent to be a top 10 round pick in the MLB Draft and/or a major contributor at the collegiate level. That’s the only commitment the Longhorns have landed publicly. Behind the scenes, however, I can promise you that Schloss and his staff hit a grand slam this weekend. Things went very well. How many yearly scholarships partial scholarships walkons do we get. Any idea what percent of perfect game 10 recruits ever make it to college?
