Former Texas RB Jonathon Brooks is being designated to make his NFL Debut for the Carolina Panthers.

Brooks suffered a torn ACL last year against TCU and has been waiting for his return to the field since then. Now, Brooks is able to return to practice for the first time as a pro.

awesome...of course, returning to practice and actually seeing time on the field are different animals.  I think he's going to do very well once he gets in there.   No reason to rush him. He would have been a SR here at Texas this year.

Very true. Panthers have shown some life offensively since benching Bryce Young. He would be welcomed I’m sure in that run game.

I didn't realize Bryce was benched. I've written a bit about how I just didn't see a first-round talent in him. I'm not saying he can't make it in the league, but I just thought Bryce Yourng was overrated.  Time will tell on that, of course!
