We need both to be in their best shape possible next Saturday. Didn’t think I saw Kobe black in the game so this confirms. Wonder if his coverage issues the prior week affected playing time. I was having the conversation with a buddy Sunday morning – Derek Williams' injury is obviously very unfortunate and Williams himself is a great player. But there is something to say about the Next Man Up story with McDonald that is very encouraging for the remainder of the team. INT was the highlight. Check out Sydir!! I know it’s not many but he was in on tackles at or behind LOS if I recall last week and recently! Hopefully, he’s gotten AC and VB’s message “stay the course, trust your coaches, and you can learn to dominate!” No matter what it’s really great to see the growth from a kid not willing to go into a game working his way back into good graces IN THE SAME SEASON after sitting 3 games! If that doesn’t prove to the young man we’re invested in his success and development at Texas nothing will!
