    Sarkisian is running out of the ability to say if he is getting an OC. That decision is going to be made for him. It’s over for him on that front imo. This team is gonna go 8-4ish. Absolutely appalling and egregious with this talent level. He won’t balk or he’ll be showed the door. Too much money involved. He’ll have to get rid of Flood as well. Our Oline is awful again.

    Sarkisian the play caller/OC and not adjusting his system to what works is our greatest problem.

    It is a catastrophic loss because of the schedule. Better teams ahead and we can only lose one game. Winning at Mizzou and LSU looks tough. Not to mention sweeping the four of Ole Miss, Fla, Miss St and Aggy. I don’t see it. The same issues keep happening. 2/3 of our units aren’t getting it done.

    This was a catastrophic loss because of our schedule. There are much better teams ahead. Sarkisian the OC isn’t getting it done. Banks the ST coach isn’t getting it done. 2/3 of the units on team is failing. It’s not getting better nor is it being fixed. The biggest issue is Sarkisian’s pride of wanting to be an OC that calls plays trumping his desire to be a championship HC. It’s a valid question. He won’t change even when its stating him in the face. No one has spent more money on his side of the ball and having the most 3 and outs in the SEC shows a total lack of consistency.

    Nailed it Gerry. The last INT encapsulates everything in a nutshell. Texas and Arch not adjusting to the blitz. Whether it is Sarkisian’s system or Arch just can’t do it…it’s a problem. It looked like man/cover 0. Texas had zero option routes to adjust to the pressure. Everything was downfield. It shouldn’t have been. Zero hot routes. Finally, the fact that Manning didn’t know to throw the ball away or protect t it all costs is mind boggling. Regardless of the play call by Sark. How does he not know you can’t do that. It’s the only way you lose the game in that spot and getting to OT. All the ball he’s been around and the fact it’s not just cemented in his brain. Being around his uncles, dad, grandpa. How? I have nothing on that.

    Sark got fleeced. How many first downs did we get negative yardage on? It happened constantly after the first quarter. You could see Tennessee bringing pressure and Texas ran right into it or passed a concept with not enough protection. He has talent for days. Sarkisian and his side of the ball continued to underperform. Meanwhile, Muschamp in four games has an elite defense. Without him we lose today. Thank you for coming back to Austin coach.

    It’s on Sarkisian. It begins and ends with him. Elite talent to work with. He refuses to get an OC. He kept Flood. There is no excuse to be this inept at times and with this much talent. Muschamp has an elite defense or better side of the ball in four games.

    Preseason polls are meaningless. I won’t change your mind and sure won’t change mine. Texas can do that on Sat.

    We don’t know about Ohio State. I think they are really good but we’ll see how their season unfolds. Beating the Golden Flashes badly proved nothing. LSU is a really good team. We’ll get a chance to show if they are overrated in Baton Rouge. I bet they are not overrated that night.

    Surprised a little. Texas has played well for a game and a quarter. Nothing about last night said #1. Most of the Ohio St game till the fourth didn’t look good. I would have Ole Miss #1 with wins over LSU and LVille. Georgia hasn’t played anyone but the eye ball test shows more consistency. I could go either way there. Texas has a chance to play a four quarter game against Tennessee and I believe they’ll need it. I am more concerned about this game than I was before the season started.

    one second left. No controversy. Herbstreit and Musbueger both immediately after replay said one second was the right call. Last night the Dadgum ball was in the air with no time left on the clock. It wasn’t close. There was no cover other than a Big 10 network not wanting to make the conference look bad.

    One of the most corrupt endings I’ve ever seen. Western Michigan got absolutely hosed.
