We'll have to disagree. He only talked about the game inside the stadium. Hopefully he understands that the game starts when the team arrives in CS. These folks are nutjobs and have 13 years of pent-up shenanigans to unload.

They get it.

There is no way Sark doesn’t understand the rivalry. CDC wouldn’t allow it.

Snooking like Sark just wants to cool play and be complimentary of TAMU, like hiding out in a grave yard then pulling a coup d’etat on them!! Same with Quinn downplay his health and really prep and plan the whole team if Arch has to play. Sark isn’t going to put a win at risk for Quinn’s pride IMO.

Sark understands the rivalry and so does the team. Trust Sark!

AND get Arch some real game reps.

He’s started games this season and has spent basically two full years in the system. If he needs to throw a few second half passes against Kentucky and hand the ball off a bunch to feel ready then we are screwed anyway.

He’s had real game reps. This isn't Garrett Gilbert.

There is a huge difference between practice reps and live game reps for QBs. There was no reason to trot an obviously injured Ewers who couldn't move in the second half out there. We were up 24-7 and it would have been a good opportunity to get some rust off Arch just in case vs a above average defense.

Yep, there was no need to keep Quinn in, when the only thing that could have happened is he puts more stress and pressure on that ankle, and gets hurt even more.

Ewers thru for 177 yds in the 1st half. After the injury he threw for FOURTEEN yards in the 2nd half. We attempted only 5 passes. And Ewers gave Kentucky 7 points on the pick 6/fumble (or whatever that was).

On the 1st play of the 4th qtr we had the ball at the KU 18 yard line. Ewers drops the snap somehow picks it up and then inexplicably throws the ball out of bounds behind him for an 11 yard loss. The next play he badly missed the RB on a tunnel screen. That’s why we had to run 15 times in a row on our final TD drive.

Go to the 44:44 mark on the game video below to watch for the play to start the 4th qtr. injured or not one the ugliest plays/decsion a QB can make.
