    Yep…it’s why we have generally underachieved in the big 3 with baseball being the outlier but it has also been 20 years now since we’ve produced a title there. You hear it with some of the mods here and fans, “we made it to Omaha.”

    We went to 3 CWS with Pierce and he was fired, the expectations are championships at this point. If we plan to take the next step either donors needs to step up and pay what it takes to win one or Schloss money balls it and coaches his butt off.

    Schloss has an outstanding record every where he’s coached. If our donors can’t support him enough to bring in the talent needed to win it all then that is on the donors.

    Our donors don’t have a win at all cost mentality, I hope this helps.

    Mike Elko is going to get a huge raise as well. To follow up on your post above, the amount these coaches are being paid it should be “natty or bust” expectations. Especially now that schools are asking for alumni to donate more and more for NIL.

    There was another player who got a DWI well after Brooks that saw playing time before Brooks
