Andrew Mukuba says he was locker mates with Clemson QB Cade Klubnik. The two grew close as the only two from Austin at Clemson at the time.

Calls him the ultimate competitor and someone that hates to lose.

Jahdae Barron says he wasn’t going on stage for the Thorpe Award without having Andrew Mukuba and Michael Taaffe on stage with him.

Says all three weren’t supposed to be at Texas. Barron was committed to Baylor, Mukuba went to Clemson and Taaffe didn’t have a scholarship. Yet it worked out and those three helped push him to win the award recognizing the best DB in the country.

Sarkisian says there has been a large focus on taking care of the football this week. Sometimes that goes to the playcalls as well as just the throws or rush attempts for Texas.

Clemson has forced 25 turnovers and sit right around 3 sacks per game.

IMO he shouldn't play. Dude is a shell of himself since his injury that he's been battling and he got rolled up on same ankle in the CCG. Focus on Wingo and getting him comfortable.

Sarkisian says he has not asked anyone if they are turning pro after the season. Says he wants to get them focused on what is at hand with the Playoff.

Says those conversations will come at the conclusion of the season. i.e Ewers, Banks, Taaffe etc.

#Texas QB Quinn Ewers came out to practice last week with no brace on his ankle says Steve Sarkisian.

KEEP THE BRACE ON. It makes him stay in the pocket more and I think that's actually helped him.
