Best Postgame Spot

What’s everyone’s favorite spot to go for a drink and some nightlife post game? I’ll be down there with a friend, looking for somewhere to go after the game.

I don’t have a post-game spot anymore now that we do the show.

But I’d find a good Mexican food place with Margaritas and go for it. It used to be Jaime’s Mexican Village for me.

Get on the wait list (in person) at Matt’s El Rancho and then spend the next hour drinking at the bar to the right. Will be filled with burnt orange and by the time your table is called 3-4 drinks in the Enchiladas and Bob Armstrong dip will taste even better. Strong chance the Mannings show as well.

Matt’s El Rancho is the big post game spot, gonna be PACKED today but will be all Texas folks! Crown and Anchor or Posse East on San Jac are easy and close. Polvos on s. 1st is always good and super strong margs. Deep Eddy Cabaret is a classic spot on Lake Austin Blvd for cheap drinks and good people. It’s right down the steeet from the original El Arroyo on 5th st. Scholtz beer garten has already been mentioned. Hoovers east of 35 is a classic spot too. El Patio on Guadalupe and 30th, Dirty’s on Guadalupe. Get it done after the horns get it done on the field tonight!!!

Thanks @Bobby Burton! I’m so bummed not to be able to go to the game today (knee replacement 27Nov 😥)AND not getting to go to el Rancho after the game adds a whole other level of bummed haha. Great day in ATX for the horns today!!
