Both Ryan Day and Steve Sarkisian are set to speak with the media for roughly 20 minutes today.  
Day will speak first at 11:00 am and then Sarkisian will follow up at noon.

After giving up playcalling duties, Day says it has allowed him to get more involved with football activities as the head coach. 

Says he’s been able to be with the team more and look at things from a wider lens.

Ryan Day says there’s been an added emphasis on starting quickly on offense in the CFP. Says they have taken the ball first in both games and done well executing the gameplan to finding points early on.

Ryan Day mentions the Ohio State winning a national title ten years ago at AT&T Stadium, as well as Will Howard winning a Big 12 Championship at AT&T as well.

Sarkisian: Credits the tOSU coaching staff for their fast starts in all three phases. Says the staff is calling it aggressively but the players are playing with confidence and executing well.

Sark was asked if he thinks he will have to lean into the pass more. "Man, I hope not."

Sarkisian credits ASU's LBs and DBs for tackling well in space and not allowing Texas to get loose in the 2nd level. 

"I am hard pressed to walk away and abandon (the run game)."

Sarkisian says he thinks this CFP run has been very fun. From SECCG in Atlanta to playing back at home against Clemson and then going back to Atlanta, Sarkisian says it has been a cool opportunity over the last month.

Sarkisian says ASU was very good on first and second downs defensively. Mentions ASU won several one on ones early on and it hurt the Longhorns.

Sark is snippy today as well. He was asked how to prevent Jeremiah Smith from taking over the football game offensively for tOSU – "I just hope we are good enough to guard him, i guess we will find out."

The coaches didn't speak at the same time so it was just one on one with the coaches and media.
